Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas just kicked off its 22nd annual Oktoberfest, and at 51 days long, it outlasts the actual festival in Munich by more than a month.
Fifty-One Days of Oktoberfest, Munich Only Gets Sixteen
Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas opened in January 2004 directly across from Paradise Road’s former Hard Rock Hotel, now Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, built as the only exact architectural replica of the original Hofbräuhaus in Munich anywhere in the world, the result of a two-year licensing negotiation with the Bavarian government. Every year since, the venue has marked the fall season with its own version of Oktoberfest, and the 22nd edition is now underway, running September 11 through October 31, 2026, a full 51 days. Munich’s actual Oktoberfest, by comparison, runs just 16 days this year, September 19 through October 4. The Las Vegas version starts more than a week before the German festival even begins and keeps going nearly four weeks after it wraps.
“It’s Oktoberfest every day at our Haus,” is the venue’s own longtime tagline, and the 51-day run backs that up. All of the beer served during the celebration is Oktoberfestbier imported directly from the state-owned brewery in Munich, the same beer served at the original Hofbräuhaus, brewed under Germany’s 400-year-old purity law.
The Celebrity Keg Tappers
Each night of the celebration opens with a ceremonial keg tapping by a different local or national name. Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom tapped the opening keg on September 11. Former two-time UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir followed on September 12. Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley is scheduled for September 18, with singer, songwriter, and entertainer Debbie Gibson tapping the following night, September 19. The male revue show Chippendales is also on the celebrity tapper lineup later in September, with additional names continuing to be added as the 51-day run continues through Halloween.

Rotating daily food specials run throughout the celebration: a Bavarian smoked meat plate on Thursdays, braised beef roulade and crispy pork shank on Fridays, and a Bavarian meats tower on Sundays, alongside the beer hall’s regular menu of pretzels, sausages, schnitzel, and sauerbraten. Live music runs nightly, from 5pm to 10pm Sunday through Thursday and 6pm to 11pm Friday and Saturday, filling the hand-painted beer hall and the tree-lined, air-conditioned beer garden with the kind of oompah energy the original Munich Hofbräuhaus is known for.
