Kafta and chicken kabob off the grill. Kibbeh, grape leaves, and labne sandwiches made by the church’s own kitchen. Baklava, knafe, and a Lebanese coffee to close it out. For 18 years, St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church has turned a weekend in October into the biggest Lebanese food and music festival in Nevada, and it’s back in a little over a week.
Eighteen Years Running
The Lebanese American Festival takes over St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, 10325 Rancho Destino Road, for its 18th consecutive year on Friday, October 9, through Sunday, October 11, 2026. Hours run Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 11pm, and Sunday from 1pm to 9pm. The event blends live entertainment on the main stage, amusement rides and games for kids, and a full food menu prepared by the church community, all built around celebrating Lebanese heritage.
What to Order
Food runs on a ticket system, with each ticket priced at $1 and the church noting that pricing is subject to change for 2026. The menu covers the full range of Lebanese home cooking: a Kabob Combo with kafta and chicken skewers, rice, fattoush, and hummus; a Vegetarian Combo with baba ghanouj, stuffed grape leaves, and falafel; individual plates of beef or chicken shawarma; and sides including tabouli, kibbeh balls, and both vegetarian and beef grape leaves. Lebanese pizza and a labne sandwich round out the savory side, and dessert covers baklava, knafe, namoura, and maamoul, alongside Lebanese and American coffee.
