Formula 1 in Las Vegas is no longer just a November event. Grand Prix Plaza is open year-round with karting on the actual Strip Circuit, a holographic 4D theater, racing simulators, and one of the most immersive sports destinations ever built. Here is everything inside.
F1 Year-Round. Not Just Race Weekend.
Grand Prix Plaza opened in May 2025 as the world’s largest Formula 1 attraction, built inside the 39-acre complex that houses the official Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building. After closing in the fall for the 2025 race weekend, it reopened January 30, 2026 with a fully upgraded lineup of experiences for its second season. More than 100,000 square feet of F1 attractions spread across a multi-level venue that operates seven days a week. This is not a museum with a few race cars behind glass. This is a fully interactive, high-speed, multi-sensory destination where you design your own F1 car, race electric karts on a section of the actual Las Vegas Strip Circuit, and watch holographic visuals float around you in a next-generation 4D theater.
“As Grand Prix Plaza returns for its second year, it marks another exciting chapter for Formula 1 enthusiasts in Las Vegas,” said Benjamin Larvie, General Manager of Grand Prix Plaza. “It’s a place where visitors of all ages can connect with the sport, celebrate its history and experience the speed, precision and thrill that define Formula 1.”
Three Experiences. One Destination.
Grand Prix Plaza is built around three core attractions, each designed to pull you deeper into the world of Formula 1 at whatever level of involvement you are looking for. You can go deep into all three or start with the F1 HUB, which requires no ticket at all.
F1 X: The Interactive Exhibition
The flagship experience at Grand Prix Plaza and the one that has been completely reimagined for 2026. F1 X spans 20,000 square feet and puts you inside the world of Formula 1 from the moment you walk in. It starts with a Pit Pass — you design your own personal driver profile, choose a team name, colors, and logo, and carry that identity through the entire experience. From there you move through a replica F1 broadcast center that replicates the command centers used to manage live races globally, then into the Legacy of Formula 1 exhibition featuring legendary artifacts and memorabilia, then into the F1 Factory where you design your own car livery and see it brought to life on screen, and finally into the centerpiece: a brand new 4D theater powered by Liminal Space’s proprietary Ghost Tile stereoscopic LED technology.
The 4D theater is genuinely new technology. Holographic visuals float in real space around the audience using Ghost Tile stereoscopic LEDs — this is not a projection screen, this is imagery that appears to exist in the physical space of the room. Combine that with advanced motion seats, atmospheric surround sound, and seamlessly integrated physical effects and you are sitting inside a Formula 1 race. Adult tickets are $59. Nevada residents, military, and children ages 2 to 12 are $49.
F1 Drive: Karting on the Actual Strip Circuit
F1 Drive is the only official Formula 1 karting experience in North America and the only karting attraction in the world that operates on part of an actual Formula 1 track. For 2026, the track has been completely redesigned with a wider layout built for more overtakes and competitive racing. The course spans indoor and outdoor sections, covers 1,470 feet with 22 turns including a hairpin, chicane, double apex, constant radius, and technical segment. Track kerbs are adorned with playing card suits as a nod to the Las Vegas Strip Circuit design. The electric karts are built specifically for the venue and feature LCD steering wheel displays and F1-style ERS energy recovery technology. Top speed reaches 30 miles per hour. Spectators in the lobby can now watch the entire grid in action from a dedicated viewing position added as part of the 2026 redesign.
F1 HUB: Free to Enter, Worth the Visit
The F1 HUB is the heart of Grand Prix Plaza and the only area that requires no ticket to access. On Level 2 you will find the official Formula 1 retail store — the largest assortment of F1 merchandise anywhere in the United States, spanning over 2,500 square feet of team gear, Las Vegas Grand Prix collections, and exclusive collaborations. New for 2026 is a hat customization station where you can get your hat personalized with embroidery and patches on the spot. The F1 HUB Lounge is Grand Prix Plaza’s dining destination serving modern American fare and F1-inspired cocktails. It is open to all guests and a strong option for a pre- or post-experience drink with views of the complex.
Add-Ons Worth Knowing About
The F1 Simulators are available as a $10 add-on to either an F1 X or F1 Drive ticket and are some of the most technically advanced racing simulators available to the public. Each unit was developed in collaboration with leading F1 experts and combines advanced motion technology with immersive audio-visual effects. Minimum age 12 and minimum height 48 inches required. If you are planning to do both F1 X and F1 Drive, bundle pricing is available at grandprixplaza.com and gives you the best value per experience.
Private Events and Group Experiences
Grand Prix Plaza is one of the most distinctive private event venues in Las Vegas, with four dedicated spaces inside the 39-acre complex. The Turn 1 Lounge is a 10,500-square-foot venue redesigned for 2026 with an elevated aesthetic inspired by the Paddock Club suites at the Las Vegas Grand Prix. It hosts up to 500 guests and works for both intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations. The Cooldown Room blends chrome and carbon fiber materials with an indoor-outdoor layout for up to 300 guests, with a center bar and multiple screens showing past Formula 1 races. The GPP Garage offers a more industrial, track-adjacent setting. The third level and rooftop are available for custom configurations. Group tickets for 21 or more are available with exclusive rates through grandprixplaza.com.
Plan Your Visit
Grand Prix Plaza is open Sunday through Thursday from 10am to 10pm and Friday through Saturday from 10am to midnight. F1 X is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays — plan accordingly if the exhibition is your priority. The venue will close again in the fall to prepare for the 2026 Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend. Tickets are available online at grandprixplaza.com or at the box office on site. Nevada residents, military, and children ages 2 to 12 receive discounted pricing on F1 X tickets at $49 versus the standard adult price of $59.
